I have PDF file that adds up pages every week. I annotate this file. How can I keep my annotations and update the PDF files with the added pages?

I am guessing that whatever tools you are currently using have some inherent limitation that you are running into. However, that is not a limitation of PDF. For example, any of the major PDF tools such as Online Pdf Annotator , FoxIt Phantom, and even Apple’s Preview will happily let you add (or even replace) pages and keep the annotations intact.

PDF documents can be cumbersome to edit, especially when you need to change the text or sign a form. However, working with PDFs is made beyond-easy and highly productive with the right tool.

How to Annotate PDF with minimal effort on your side:

  1. Add the document you want to edit — choose any convenient way to do so.
  2. Type, replace, or delete text anywhere in your PDF.
  3. Improve your text’s clarity by annotating it: add sticky notes, comments, or text blogs; black out or highlight the text.
  4. Add fillable fields (name, date, signature, formulas, etc.) to collect information or signatures from the receiving parties quickly.
  5. Assign each field to a specific recipient and set the filling order as you Annotate PDF.
  6. Prevent third parties from claiming credit for your document by adding a watermark.
  7. Password-protect your PDF with sensitive information.
  8. Notarize documents online or submit your reports.
  9. Save the completed document in any format you need.

The solution offers a vast space for experiments. Give it a try now and see for yourself. Annotate PDF with ease and take advantage of the whole suite of editing features.

Annotate PDF: All You Need to Know

Just open your PDF with those tools, set a page number and start to add stuff. Even better, when you are done adding, those tools will let you add some notes or comments. So if you're using Preview then you don't even have to print out the end result (though in fairness you can of course print out all the annotations, but it was not a consideration for our purposes). So really, there's no reason in principle at all for you to even be using PDF over PDF. You are free to use whichever option works best for you. The only difference is really in usability and convenience. The rest is as it should be. Which reminds me.
